Colin Kicklighter - Drums

Colin is a drummer and muti instrumentalist who brings a ton of power to the rhythm section.  Equipped with some sort of super "phat snare drum sound" thing, he locks in the band and drives the songs.  This guy has great time.  For those of you who are not musicians... when we say some one has great "time"  we mean they keep the beat in a way that is both uber precise and full of super human groove... which is what Colin is doing back there behind the drums.  Low Swans doesn't know too much about his background except that he used to be a part of the drum corps scene and now he's a lawyer... which we can only surmise is the reason he has so much frustration to let out during our shows...

Peter Graef - Violin/Synth

So, Low Swans played their biggest show as a duo in October 2013 after which Peter came screaming in their ear about how he wanted to "jam" with them and that he's a suzuki trained violinist.  Low Swans was puzzled and went along their business.  After a year of Peter soliciting his services via email, an initial rehearsal with the violinist opened a whole new dimension to the sound, adding additional orchestration and melody to the live show.  Recently he has taken on synth duties and also there was a theremin. He's also a pilot.

Eric Dahl - DJ/Electronics

Eric has long worked with Low Swans behind these scenes as an engineer.  Having been a DJ for many years, it was a natural to bring his tech expertise on to handle all of the backing tracks and samples happening during the Low Swans live show.  Originally, the idea was to have him do live mixes during the set... and then he showed up with a computer, an ipad, a sub woofer, a mixer, a vocal distortion pedal and some crazy ideas about setting up a private wifi network on stage in order to synch all of our electronics.  So instead of putting him out in the audience to be a mixer, we put him on stage so people can see the robot he has constructed to manipulate all of our synths and loops in real time.
